How to Change a Henry Hoover Bag
– Step-by-Step Guide
The Henry Hoover is a fantastic vacuum cleaner, but to keep it working properly, you need to change the bag regularly.
If the bag is full, your Henry won’t pick up dirt as well, and the suction will be weak.
Don’t worry – changing the bag is super easy! Just follow these simple steps...
What You Will Need:
- A new Henry Hoover dust bag (make sure it's the right size for your model) - Read More About Henry Hoover Bags B&M Here
- A clean, dry cloth (optional)
Step 1: Turn Henry Off and Unplug Him
Safety first! Before you do anything, make sure Henry is turned off and unplugged from the power socket.
Step 2: Remove the Lid
Henry’s head (the top part with his eyes) needs to come off. Grab the two side clips and lift them up to release the lid. Once the clips are open, carefully lift Henry’s lid and put it to the side.
Step 3: Take Out the Old Bag
Inside, you will see the dust bag attached to a black plastic tube. Gently pull the bag away from the tube. Be careful not to spill any dust. If the bag is very full, it’s best to hold it over a bin before removing it.
Step 4: Attach the New Bag
Take your new dust bag and slide the cardboard collar onto the black plastic tube. Push it on firmly so it stays in place.
Step 5: Close Henry Back Up
Put the lid back on Henry, making sure it sits properly. Clip the side fasteners down to lock it in place.
Step 6: Plug in and Test
Now, plug Henry back in and turn him on to check if everything is working fine. If the suction feels strong, you’re all set!
That’s it! You’ve just changed Henry’s bag. Be sure to replace it when it gets full to keep Henry working at his best.
